Here is a list of my favorite books/series!

Here are just a few of my favorite series!

The Lunar Chronicles Series

So, why is this at the top of my list? Well, it's definitely NOT your original princess stories. It all starts

with Cinder, a renowned mechanic, who is an outcast, due to her cyborg limbs. She struggles to live

with her stepmother and two stepsisters, though the youngest, Peony, is perhaps her only human friend. She

doesn't remember her family or her life before she was adopted, after she had been given the cyborg limbs that placed her low in society. However, once the handsome young prince of the Commenwealth asks for her mechanic services, she finds out more than she possibly bargained for about her history... and her future. A mix of sci-fi, fantasy, and romance, you won't want to miss these amazing stories of four teenage girls who save the world.

The Divergent Series

Divergent follows the story of Tris Prior in a dystopian society where she learns being different is far more powerful than she could ever imagine. In the post-apocalyptic Chicago, there are five Factions. Dauntless (the brave), Erudite (the knowledgeable), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the truthful), and Abnegation (the selfless), where Tris and her family live. Each faction runs one part of society, and when you are 16, you choose which faction you'll live in for the rest. Of. Your. Life. To choose a faction you weren't born in was considered betrayal. "Faction before blood," they'd say. After the chilling moment of watching her selfless brother, Caleb, choose Erudite, Tris has to make a choice. Will she stay with her family? Safe? Or will she search for something more in a different faction?

Keeper of the lost cities

This. Series. Is. Amazing. Lemme tell you. At twelve, Sophie Foster always felt different. She found out at a young age that she was telepathic, and one day, someone shows up and tells her that she is, in fact, an ELF! After her initial shock, like any normal person would have, this mysterious elf named Fitz whisks her away to the Lost Cities, where all the elves live in harmony. She learns that they had been searching for her for twelve years, and that she belongs with them. The worst part? She has to say goodbye to her family. Her human family. And the world she's always known. Written by Shannon Messenger, you will be gripped by every twist, turn, and cliffhanger in this series.

The Hunger games series

Now, I'm sure most people know of this series or have read them. The newest book by Suzanne Collins, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, comes out in May and I personally cannot wait to read it.

The Hunger Games is the story of Katniss Everdeen, a sixteen year old girl who lives in the poorest district in Panem. District Twelve. It had been over twenty years since anyone in District Twelve had won the dreaded Hunger Games. The Games, designed to keep the districts from uprising against the corrupt Capitol, choose two children, every year, from every district, as tributes. Ages twelve through eighteen. At twelve, Katniss's younger sister, Prim, is chosen for the Hunger Games. Filled with panic, Katniss shouts the only words that can save her sister. I volunteer as tribute.

Matched

Would you be willing to let someone make every choice for you? Predict its outcome? In the Society, that's exactly what happens. You are matched at sixteen with your future husband or wife. You are allowed to only have so many children. And everyone dies at the exact age of eighty. What happens if someone falls in love with someone else? If they choose to?

Cassia is just a normal, teenage girl in the Society. She gets matched with her best friend, Xander, which is rare only because they live near each other. They are each given a microchip, giving each other information about their match. Cassia tells herself she knows everything they will tell her, but looks at the information anyway.

The face that looks back at her, just for a moment, is not Xander's.
